'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Season 7, Episode 10 Preview: Fighting Maul

After suffering a slight setback, Ahsoka Tano (voice by Ashley Eckstein) will take the fight to Maul (voice by Sam Witwer) in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” Season 7, episode 10. A preview video has been released online that shows the former Jedi and her soldiers establishing a foothold in Mandalore to launch their attack.

The last few episodes of the TV series will be about Ahsoka confronting Maul and the story will connect to the events featured in “Revenge of the Sith.” The overlap has already started, and the next episode of the animation TV series will take the story closer to the end of the war.

A preview video of episode 10 shows the price the soldiers had to pay for their attack on Mandalore. After facing an ambush that led to the deaths of many soldiers, Ahsoka and Rex (voice by Dee Bradley Baker) will fortify their position before planning their next move. The former Jedi will be forced to launch an attack soon because Maul has captured a veteran Arc Trooper to learn as much as he can.

A set of stills from “The Clone Wars” Season 7, episode 10 posted on the official Star Wars website shows Ahsoka facing Maul in a lighsaber duel. The former Jedi will also have the help of Bo-Katan (voice by Katee Sackhoff) and her troops, which should result in their victory.

A victory in Mandalore will be meaningless because of the events that are set to unfold across the galaxy. Maul will probably hint at the things to come when he fights Ahsoka. One of the preview pictures teases the two having a conversation during their duel.

Anakin (voice by Matt Lanter) and Obi-Wan (Voice by James Arnold Taylor) were forced to head back to Coruscant to stop a major separatist attack in the previous episode. The attack was seen in “Revenge of the Sith,” and the events from there culminated into the Jedi getting nearly wiped out. The animation series is now racing towards the infamous Order 66, IGN reported.

“The Clone Wars” Season 7, episode 10 is titled “The Phantom Apprentice,” and it will air on April 24 on Disney+ streaming platform.
