Steve-O’s net worth is around $2.5 million. Although he is a big star now, he started doing dangerous stunts for just a small pay back in the day.

Steve-O was a member of the TV show “Jackass” from 2000 to 2002. It had a massive following due to the antics, pranks and life-threatening stunts of the show’s cast such as Bam Margera, Johnny Knoxville, Ryan Dunn and Chris Pontius, among others. Due to the success of the show, it had three spin-off movies: “Jackass: The Movie,” “Jackass Number Two” and “Jackass 3D.” The first movie made $80 million worldwide and the second installment raked in $85 million at the box office. Meanwhile, the last Jackass movie grossed around $172 million globally, per Celebrity Net Worth.

The actor revealed in a report published on HowardStern.com that they were only paid $500 for dangerous stunts that could cost them their life on “Jackass.” On the other hand, doing ordinary stunts would only earn them $200.

When the show ended in 2002, Steve-O and the cast went on to pursue individual projects. The British-American TV personality would star on his own show “Wildboyz” with fellow “Jackass” alumnus Chris Pontius. Steve-O also released his own DVD “Don't Try This At Home.” In 2007, he starred in a series called “Dr Steve-O” but it lasted only one season.

Aside from acting, Steve-O skates in his free time. Because of his love for skating, Steve-O appeared in the video game “Tony Hawk's Underground 2.” He has also done stand-up tours since 2010. He released an autobiography entitled “Professional Idiot: A Memoir” in 2011. The former “Jackass” member has his own Youtube channel, which has more than 5 million subscribers.

He has been open about his depression and drug addiction in the past, which resulted in various police arrests throughout his career. Recently, the actor seems to be getting back on his feet as he appears to be happy and sober when he started making fun and daring videos again.

According to CBS Los Angeles, his latest stunt involved him getting taped to a Hollywood billboard. Stephen Gilchrist Glover, Steve-O’s real name, uploaded a photo of himself taped to a billboard on his social media account and explained in the caption that he was safe and there was no chance of him falling. Firefighters eventually took him down but did not arrest nor file a case against him. It was later revealed that Glover’s stunt was part of a promotion for the brand “Gnarly.”

His death-defying stunts earned him the reputation as a fun-loving guy and reckless entertainer who would do anything to make the audience laugh. Steve-O has come a long way from earning a mere $500 for stunts to making possible tens of thousands of dollars promoting brands.
