Meghan Markle is reportedly getting special security measures on the set of the upcoming Season 7 of “Suits.”

An insider told Us Weekly that the cast and crew of the USA Network series are giving special attention to the 35-year-old actress after news broke last summer that she’s dating Prince Harry. The source, however, made it clear that Markle is getting special treatment not because she loves to be pampered. “It inarguably boils down to security issues,” said the insider, before revealing that the name of the Los Angeles native is no longer listed on shoot schedules.

A second source said that as soon as it became public knowledge that Markle and Prince Harry are in a romantic relationship together, “everyone [on set] was warned to stop talking [about it] or they would be fired.”

Despite the unnecessary threat, “everyone is OK with respecting her privacy,” added the second source.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in January, series creator Aaron Korsh admitted that life on set has been a bit crazier since it was revealed to the world that Markle is Prince Harry’s girlfriend.

“I’m in L.A. more than Toronto but the added publicity came very late in … Season [6] … so we didn’t really have a massive amount of time under that added publicity,” Korsh said. “If anything [it] was more of a strain, it was the concern of outside paparazzi.”

When asked how people on set reacted to the news, Korsh said: “The thing is these people have been working together — crew, cast, even many of the extras — for five years. We’ve been operating as a family for so long and that hasn’t really changed.”

As for what he personally thinks about Markle and Prince Harry’s romance, Korsh said: “I’m happy for any and all of my cast members that are in any kind of relationship that is bringing them joy and happiness.”

Despite rumors that Markle is leaving the series soon, the actress is still part of show’s Season 7, which will premiere on Wednesday, July 12 at 9 p.m. EDT.

Plot details about the new season are being kept under wraps, but Korsh told Deadline last March that Markle’s character, Rachel Zane, is going to become a full-fledged lawyer. Korsh added that the viewers will see Rachel working with her fiancé, Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who became a real lawyer at the end of Season 6 finale.

Season 7 will also find Mike working side-by-side with Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) just like the old times. At the end of the Season 6 finale, Mike agreed to return to Pearson Specter Litt with the condition that he will be allowed to continue working on cases with Nathan Burns’ (Peter Cambor) legal clinic. While that deal seems to be a win-win situation for both Mike and Harvey, Korsh told Deadline that the said agreement will potentially cause some conflict between the dynamic duo.

The upcoming season will also reveal the ramifications of Louis Litt’ (Rick Hoffman) recent heartbreak from Tara Messer (Carly Pope) and where Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) is heading after her not-so-successful foray into business.
