Promo videos of “Supernatural” Season 15, episode 3 have been released online. The crypt that was featured in the first episode will be back, and there may be a big death featured on the show this week.

Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles), and Belphagor (Alexander Calvert) will travel to crypt in episode 3. The promo video shows Rowena (Ruth Pellegrino) playing an important role this time around.

The next episode is titled “The Rapture,” and it is promising to be heart-wrenching. Rowena appears to be offering to sacrifice herself in the promo, but Sam doesn’t want to give up without a fight. Things are not looking great for Rowena as the emotional scene appears to tease her death.

The main plot of the show will be about everyone trying to stop souls from escaping hell. The task of stopping this will not be easy, especially if these souls have a leader who can guide them and fight for them.

According to the synopsis of “Supernatural” Season 15, episode 3, Sam and Dean will “work tirelessly to keep all of hell from breaking loose” with the help of Rowena. Meanwhile, Castiel (Misha Collins) will not be able to “forgive an arrogant betrayal.” It remains to be seen what this betrayal will be about.

Meanwhile, co-showrunner Andrew Dabb recently spoke to TV Line and shared some of his insights. Dabb teased that there was a reason why they have kept Belphagor around. The character has an agenda, which will play out in the later part of the season. Sam and Dean have no choice but to accept his help for now because they are facing a crises, but they will soon learn about their new friend’s actual intentions.

“Supernatural” Season 15, episode 3 will air on Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. EST on the CW.
