“Supernatural” premiered a monster of an episode last week. Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith) secretly stole a unique weapon – The Colt – from Prince of Hell Ramiel (Jerry Trimble). Fortunately, Sam (Jared Padalecki) successfully killed him after stabbing him with the Lance of Michael.

What will happen this week on The CW series?

An old character is set to return in Season 12, episode 13 of “Supernatural.” Remember Crowley’s (Mark A. Sheppard) son Gavin McLeod (guest star Theo Devaney)? Well, he’s back! According to the synopsis (via TVGuide), Sam and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will investigate a mysterious murder at a museum. Soon, they discover that the killing is linked to a ghost that haunted a merchant ship back in 1723.

The Winchesters soon realize that this ship, named The Star, is the same one in which Gavin should have been aboard. In order to locate Crowley’s son, they enlist the help of Rowena (Ruth Connell). Together, the three track him down.

However, this episode won’t only focus on the hunters. An angel tries to kill Kelly Kline (Courtney Ford), the woman who is still carrying Lucifer’s child. For her protection, she takes refuge with a demon.

The CW released a sneak peek video of the upcoming episode that shows the Winchesters working the case. However, Dean makes it clear to his brother that he suspects their mom is hiding something from them. Mary made an excuse of being “too tired” and didn’t join her boys in solving their latest hunting case.

Last episode, “Supernatural” revealed that Mary was secretly working with the British Men of Letters. She delivered The Colt to the supernatural-fighting organization after she stole it from Ramiel. It seems that either she will come clean to her sons or get caught hiding the truth from them.

“Supernatural” Season 12 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
