Kirito is back and after defeating Vassago, he is set to fight another major enemy in "Sword Art Online: Alicization War Of Underworld" Part 2, Episode 20. The episode is titled "The Night-Sky Blade."

The official website has released spoiler photos and synopsis for "Sword Art Online: Alicization War Of Underworld" Part 2, Episode 20 hinting Kirito’s battle against Gabriel.

Asuna and Alice are on their way to the World’s End Altar for ejecting Fluctlights from the console. However, Gabriel is aware of the plan and will try to stop them.

In "Sword Art Online: Alicization War Of Underworld" Part 2, Episode 20, Kirito needs to buy time and he will confront Gabriel. However, Kirito is facing a new incarnation of Gabriel that can be best described as “pitch-black nothingness.”

Kirito and Gabriel’s battle is crucial for the former. If Kirito fails to return to the real world before the maximum acceleration starts, he will be stuck in the Underworld for 200 years.

“Along with Asuna, Alice heads to the World’s End Altar, the console for ejecting Fluctlights. To buy them enough time to reach it, Kirito confronts Gabriel, who’s become the incarnation of pitch-black nothingness,” the official synopsis reads. “Unless he can defeat Gabriel and make it back to the real world before the maximum-acceleration phase begins, Kirito will have to spend the next 200 years in the Underworld. Trying to stay calm, he crosses swords with Gabriel, who’s taken on a peculiar form.”
