Happy Birthday Taylor Swift!

The country superstar, who turns 22 on Tuesday, summed up her big year via Twitter just past the stroke of midnight.

I'm so 22 right now, she wrote to her fans.

As of Tuesday morning, Twitter has been buzzing with Happy Birthday Taylor Swift messages, alongside trending topics Derek Jeter, Reggie White and Dick Cheney.

Swift, who was recently presented with the Nashville Symphony Harmony Award, has had quite the year.

In recent weeks, the singer was named Entertainer of the Year at the CMA awards, took home three American Music Awards, including Artist of the Year, and was honored with a Woman of the Year award by Billboard. At the Dec. 2 ceremony, Swift became the youngest artist to receive the prize, joining past winners Fergie and Beyoncé. In May, Swift won two Billboard awards, including Album of the Year for Speak Now.

Swift is also nominated for three Grammy awards, including best Country Solo Performance for her hit single, Mean. The ceremony will be held on Feb. 12.

Speak Now, Swift's third studio album, has sold more than 5.5 million copies since its release in Oct. 2010. The album has spawned six hit singles, including Mine, Back to December, Sparks Fly and the latest, Ours, which was released in early December.

The Speak Now World Tour, which ended its North American leg in a 2-night stint at New York City's Madison Square Garden, has grossed more than $40 million in ticket sales. The tour will resume in March, when Swift and her crew travel to Australia and New Zealand for six shows.
