A Florida teen allegedly stabbed his mother multiple times and beat her with a frying pan as he was upset with her for asking him to clean his room, an arrest affidavit revealed.

The 17-year-old accused, identified as Tobias "Toby" Jacob Brewer, was arrested on charges of attempted murder for allegedly assaulting his mother at his residence in Cocoa on Nov. 30, Click Orlando reported.

Cocoa police responded to the scene after the mother of Brewer's friend called the police to report that the boy told her he killed his mother. When the officers arrived, they found the unidentified victim, laying on her back in the doorway of the laundry room, covered in blood.

The woman had reportedly sustained multiple stab wounds on her body and her nose was almost completely detached, as per the arrest affidavit. It also revealed that as the officers called for a rescue team to have the mother shifted to the hospital, she took a breath and said, "Toby did this." The woman was shifted to the hospital and was listed as critical but in stable condition.

The officials eventually located Brewer, who fled the scene after the incident. Brewer was taken into custody after leading the cops on a chase through several counties before his vehicle crashed into a wooded area.

During interrogation, the teen admitted to stabbing his mother with a pocket knife and hitting her with a frying pan until the handle broke as she was "constantly on his case about cleaning his room," NY Post reported.

"The suspect advised that he does not like cleaning his room and was tired of the victim (his mom) constantly harping about it," the affidavit said.

The teen also confessed that he took both of his mom's car keys and took money out of her purse "so that he can have money once he left the area." Furthermore, he reportedly texted a friend to bring a gun to "shoot the victim."

In addition to the first-degree attempted murder, Brewer faces charges of grand theft of a motor vehicle and fleeing and eluding law enforcement. His case has been transferred to adult court, reports said.
