In an apparent case of murder-suicide, two men were found dead inside a home in Conroe, Texas.

Deputies with the Conroe Police Department arrived at the residence Sunday afternoon after receiving a call from a woman, and found two men with gunshot wounds. The men were pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of the men were not released by the police, Houston Chronicle reported.

The officers also found the caller at the residence and learned one of the victims was her 33-year-old estranged husband, whom she was planning to divorce, and the other man was her boyfriend. She said she and her husband parted ways in November and lived separately. The woman added she started dating her 29-year-old friend after the separation.

Police said the husband was staying at the woman's Conroe home since last week due to the winter storm. He was planning to leave the residence Sunday. Her boyfriend visited the home Sunday when it was empty, the Houston Chronicle reported.

A while later, the husband entered and opened fire at the boyfriend before turning the handgun on himself. The two did not utter a single word before the incident took place, Click2Houston reported.

The case was being investigated and the officers were yet to notify their families as of Sunday evening.

Earlier this month, a man in Pennsylvania fatally shot his neighbors and then himself following an argument over snow disposal. Jeffrey Spaide got into an argument with his neighbors -- James Goy, and his wife, Lisa Goy -- over the disposal of snow that had accumulated during a snowstorm. Spaide went to his home during the disagreement and came out with a handgun. He then shot the couple multiple times, killing them on the spot. When officers arrived at the scene and went to check on the man to take him into custody, they heard a single gunshot while at the door. They broke open his apartment door and found him dead.
