Actress, producer and director Tiffani Thiessen, famously known for her role as Kelly Kapowski on the pop culture phenomenon NBC show Saved by the Bell, turned 38 on Monday.

Thiessen has come a long way from her days as the perky cheerleader. She played bad girl Valerie Malone on another hit TV show, Beverly Hills, 90210. She went on to have guest spots on other popular shows, including Just Shoot Me,

Her film credits include the 2000 comedy The Ladies Man and the 2002 Woody Allen film Hollywood Ending.

In 2001, she posed for the March issue of FHM wearing nothing but frilly underwear and hoop earrings.

She's had her own production company, Tit 4 Tat Productions, since 2003. Her producing and directing credits include Just Pray and Buried Secrets.

Thiessen currently plays the role of Elizabeth Burke on the USA Network show White Collar.

On the personal side, she is married to actor Brady Smith and they have a daughter.

Thiessen discussed her career goals and accomplishments in an interview with the magazine Women on Writing.

There are still more things, interests, projects and creative outlets I want to explore, she said. Hard work and a lot of heart will continue to be the cornerstones of my life's accomplishments -- whatever they may be.
