In an attempt to get her ex-boyfriend’s attention, a TikToker faked her own wedding, only for him to see the over-the-top effort and ignore her at the end.

The woman named Jacqueline took to TikTok last week to admit that she pretended to get married in an attempt to get a reaction from her former boyfriend, Times Now News reported.

"Remembering the time I faked my own wedding and had a professional photoshoot so he would reach out," she wrote in the TikTok video.

The woman, who goes by @dieschaklin on TikTok, then covered her face with her hand, looking embarrassed, and showed photos from her faux wedding.

Jacqueline was seen wearing a beautiful dress while her "groom" wore a tux. The photos showed the two posing romantically. They were seen cuddling, laughing and dancing together.

She rented out a venue to take the photos and even paid to have a wedding cake made.

"Worst part is he watched my story and still didn’t reach out," she captioned the video and also set the TikTok video to the song "Insane" by Summer Walker. The video has since gone viral with over 1.7 million views.

Several TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts.

"Wait, but how embarrassing and crazy you must look when he finds out it's not real," one user commented.

"I thought I was crazy. I need to get on this level LMFAO," wrote another user.

"Should've done an engagement shoot lol once the wedding happens it's too late," another commented.

Another person revealed that she attempted something similar and it worked for her.

"I did this, and he actually reached out and ‘stopped the wedding’ and asked me to marry him. All it takes is just the right amount of crazy ladies," the user wrote.

"Lol, my sister-in-law told me that when she posted her wedding pictures ex’s she hadn’t talked to in YEARS reached out regretting not picking her lol," another user commented.
