T.J. Holmes filed for divorce amid the affair allegations against him and Amy Robach.

Holmes, 45, wants to officially end his 12-year marriage to his wife, Marilee Fiebig. He filed for divorce Wednesday based on the court documents obtained by Us Weekly and Page Six, just days after he and Robach, 49, were spotted at an Atlanta airport.

His filing came a month after he and his "GMA3" co-anchor sparked romantic rumors after they were spotted getting cozy with each other. In one photo published by Daily Mail on Nov. 30, they were seen holding hands in a car. In another shot, they were spotted enjoying drinks at a bar in New York City. He was also caught on camera playfully touching Robach's backside as she packed up the car.

When Holmes and Robach's alleged affair made headlines, an anonymous source told Page Six that she was "blindsided" because she never suspected Robach. Although they had been separated for months, Holmes and Feibig were reportedly working on giving their marriage a second chance.

The "GMA3" anchor and immigration lawyer were even reportedly together on Holmes' birthday. They spent it with their 8-year-old daughter, Sabine.

"She's devastated. She had no idea," the anonymous source told Page Six of Fiebig. "They haven't been together in [a while], but they were trying to work it out."

Fiebig was reportedly aware of Holmes' three-year affair with "Good Morning America" producer Natasha Singh that began in 2016.

"Marilee never considered Amy because she was focused on Natasha. She never thought about [him cheating] with Amy because they were friends. Amy's daughter was their daughter's babysitter," an insider said.

Daily Mail also reported about Holmes' divorce filing. The outlet added that they were jet-setting to spend an intimate New Year's together. In the snaps obtained by the outlet, Holmes was seen putting a protective arm around Robach as they navigated the terminal Monday.

Holmes and Robach have been suspended from "GMA3" following their alleged affair. ABC News President Kim Godwin said during an internal call that taking them off the air was the best because their rumored affair had become too much of an "internal and external distraction."

"After a lot of thought, I am taking Amy and T.J. off the air as we figure this out," Godwin reportedly said in a statement.

"I want to say that while that relationship is not a violation of company policy, I have really taken the last few days to think about and work through what I think is best for the ABC News organization," she added in a statement obtained by TMZ.

Holmes and Fiebig's reps have not responded to Page Six and Us Weekly for comment.
