Gayle King is weighing in on married "Good Morning America" co-anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach's "messy" scandal.

On Thursday, the "CBS Mornings" anchor, 67, appeared on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," where she was asked her opinion about how "all hell has broken loose" on rival daytime show "GMA3."

"Oh gosh, of all the questions I was hoping you would not talk about," King said, noting that she does not have schadenfreude over their situation, People reported.

"I mean, I look at the situation and I do say it's very interesting what's happening over there," she continued. "It's just gotten very messy and very sloppy. I do think that."

Holmes and Robach were temporarily pulled off the air Monday, just days after photos of them holding hands and cozying up at a bar in New York City surfaced on Nov. 30 and sparked questions about the status of their respective marriages. Robach is married to actor Andrew Shue, while Holmes has been married for 12 years to Marilee Fiebig.

"You know, because in the beginning I actually thought — listen, good on 'Good Morning America,' they're saying that they're not taking them off the air, two consenting adults. But then the more you read, it's just very messy," King said.

The "Gayle King Show" star also noted that she was "concerned" about Holmes and Robach's situation because there are children and families involved.

"To me, it's a sad situation because you've got kids involved, you've got families involved and I keep thinking about that. I'm very concerned about that," King shared.

Robach has two daughters, Ava and Annie, with her ex-husband Tim McIntosh, while Shue and his former spouse, Jennifer Hageney, share three sons: Nate, Aidan and Wyatt.

Holmes and Fiebig have a daughter named Sabine. He is also a dad to daughter Brianna and son Jaiden, whom he shares with ex-wife Amy Ferson.

People reported, citing unnamed sources, that Robach and Holmes have been separated from their respective spouses since August and that their romance only began after the breakups.

"Amy was going through a heartache and T.J. was very much there for her and helpful, and that is when they started something," one unnamed insider told the outlet.

Robach and Holmes have yet to officially comment on the drama. They both took down their Instagram accounts after the news of their romance broke.

The pair initially returned to their news desk after the photos were published, but they haven't been back in their seats since the start of this week.

Earlier this week, ABC News president Kim Godwin shared on the company's editorial call the news of the network's decision to "temporarily" take Holmes and Robach off the air.

"I want to say that while the relationship is not a violation of company policy, I really have taken the last few days to think about and work through what I think is best for the ABC News organization," Godwin said on the call. "These decisions are not easy, they are not knee jerk, but they are necessary for the brand and for our priority which, you guys know, are all of is — the people here at ABC."

Gio Benitez and Stephanie Ramos will co-anchor the third hour of "Good Morning America" in their absence.
