They may no longer be the co-hosts of “Dancing With the Stars,” after being replaced by Tyra Banks for the upcoming 29th season, but that doesn’t mean Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews were forgotten by loyal fans as the show made its big announcement regarding the celebrity cast.

The cast, which was revealed during “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, contained some interesting surprises in terms of the celebs who are participating, including Carole Baskin, Nev Schulman, Justina Machado and Nelly. However, not long after the announcement was made, Bergeron’s name was the one fans couldn’t stop mentioning on social media, specifically after the ousted host used his trademark humor to change his bio on Twitter.

This isn’t the first time Bergeron seemed to have fun with the news of his ouster on social media since news broke he had been fired in July. Shortly after the show revealed he and Andrews had been replaced with Banks, he made a reference to the shared initials he and Banks had.

His bio change wasn’t the only thing that got his name back in the news however, with fans of the show taking to social media during the cast announcement that they still didn’t forget how the show treated him after so many years, and no cast in the world would get them watching.

Bergeron wasn’t the only one to steal the spotlight from the cast though, as his former co-host, discussed their ousters from the show in a new interview.

“It was a surprise,” she told Extra’s Jenn Lahmers. “I got a phone call and I answered the phone. I was like, ‘This isn’t good.’”

“Dancing With the Stars” Season 29 premieres Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
