Rumors about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes feuding over equal custody of their daughter Suri surfaced over the weekend, but Gossip Cop claims it to be untrue. According to a fabricated report, Holmes is “devastated” over the situation as she does not want to share Suri's custody with her ex-husband.

“Tom’s decided to burst their cozy mother-daughter bubble” and “is wanting to be granted joint custody of Suri,” the magazine claimed, citing an unreliable source. Cruise has “always been allowed to see Suri for 10 days a month” since he and Holmes split, but asserts “whispers are swirling that he wants to up his access to Suri, and has possibly instructed his lawyers to draw up the paperwork to make it happen," the report claimed.

The "false" story also went on to claim Holmes’ “public displays of affection with beau Jamie Foxx may have triggered Tom’s thoughts about spending more time with his daughter.”

However, the claims are untrue as there has been no fight between Cruise and Holmes. The duo settled their divorce in 2012, following which the actress obtained primary and sole custody of their daughter. While little is known about Cruise’s relationship with Suri, last year reports claimed the "Mission Impossible" star had “no relationship with Suri” at that point in time.

There were also reports the father and daughter had not spoken to each other for years.

Late last month, another false report claimed Suri was trying to reach out to Cruise as she was eager to reunite with her father. A representative for Holmes told Gossip Cop the OK! article claiming Suri was begging her dad to pay her a visit was fabricated. The report alleges the 12-year-old had been trying to contact her father through phone calls, letters and voicemails.
