British Conservative politicians are more attractive than their Labour counterparts, according to the results of a poll taken by a website that ranked Members of Parliament by their “sexiness.”

Of the top ten most attractive male MPs (as of this writing), seven are Conservatives.

However, similar to the list compiled for female MPs, while the top ten was indeed dominated by Tories, a Labour politician took the top spot.

Incidentally, two of the most prominent Tories did not do too well in the rankings.

Prime Minister David Cameron, a Conservative who represents Witney, finished 180th (out of a total of 648 MPs, although this includes both men and women).

The Chancellor of the Exchequer did a little better. George Osborne, a Conservative from Tatton, finished as the 105th more attractive MP.

Sexymp.co.uk was established by London resident Francis Boulle, a 22-year-old diamond mining heir, according to media reports.

He designed the site in order to create a fun and memorable tool to help the British public get to know their members of parliament and added that he thought it would be an interesting opportunity to hold the first ever parliamentary beauty contest and find out, once and for all, which MPs and parties have the most sex appeal.”

Although I fully expect this to offend some people, Boulle writes, this was never my intention, and I hope you will see the funny side.

The website asked respondents which MP would you rather have sex with?

Here are the top ten sexiest/most attractive male MPs, according to Sexymp.co.uk (as of 12 noon New York time, May 31, 2011).
