  • Tori Spelling credited her "amazing makeup artist" with helping her achieve her recent glam makeover
  • The actress insisted that she had contouring to thank for her dramatic makeover rather than plastic surgery
  • Spelling also said her glow could be due to a skincare treatment she got called exosome therapy

Tori Spelling is setting the record straight on rumors that she recently got plastic surgery.

On Thursday, Spelling, 48, appeared on Sirius XM's "Jeff Lewis Live," where she addressed the photos she recently posted on Instagram showing off her glam makeover. Fans and plastic surgeons had claimed that she looked like a different person in the snaps and speculated that she may have gotten work done on her face. Some even started to compare her to Khloe Kardashian.

However, the "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum made it clear that she didn't get plastic surgery and instead attributed her new look to makeup and skincare.

"You do look great," host Jeff Lewis told Spelling, before asking the actress, "What is it? Why do you look so good?"

"First of all, I have an amazing makeup artist now. Her name is Hailey Hoff and, with contour, she does makeup like no one else," Spelling was quoted by People as saying. "I look completely different. I look like I've had a nose job and it's straight now. It's all contouring."

Aside from makeup, Spelling said her glow could be due to a skincare treatment called exosome therapy that she and Lewis both tried during a trip to Carson City, Nevada. The therapy delivers RNA, DNA and proteins to other cells in the body to help with inflammation and rejuvenation.

"It could be the exosomes too," she said, noting that some people commented that her skin "looks flawless" in a recent selfie she took with Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi.

"So maybe I'm looking younger. They said I looked Snooki's age. She's 33. I'm like, 'I'll take that,'" she added.

While Spelling insisted that she looked different due to contouring, celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Ramtin Kassir, who has not worked with the actress, suggested that she may have had several procedures, including a nose job revision.

"She definitely did her nose again, 100% — unless these are so filtered [it only appears that way] — but I’m just going by what I’m seeing [in the photos]," he told Page Six, further claiming that the actress may have gotten Botox injections, a brow lift and a lip lift.

Dr. Howard Sobel, attending cosmetic dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon at Lenox Hill Hospital, suggested that Spelling might have had fillers injected in her cheeks, jawline and chin for a more defined look.

"Tori looks fantastic, her skin is flawless without any sunspots. She looks great!" said Sobel, who also has not worked with Spelling.

This isn't the first time Spelling has responded to plastic surgery rumors. In 2019, she told People the procedures she had done in the past.

"The one thing for me that has stuck forever was the plastic surgery thing. I literally had my nose done and my boobs done, and that's it. I'm constantly reading that I've done more," Spelling said.

"People have been talking about me having plastic surgery since I was 17. I remember my dad [producer Aaron Spelling] saying, 'Don't worry. It will go away next week.' But that one thing has stayed with me my entire career!"
