  • She revealed Stella's left arm went completely numb last week
  • The actress said her daughter has been "not great" after two ER visits

Tori Spelling has shared more details about the medical emergency her 14-year-old daughter Stella had last week.

During her guest appearance on Sirius XM's "Jeff Lewis Live" Thursday, the 49-year-old actress opened up about what really happened to her daughter that led to her hospitalization.

"Her left arm went completely numb, she couldn't lift it. Then half of her throat, then her mouth — so it looked like she had had a stroke," Spelling said, as quoted by People.

She continued, "We rushed her to the ER, and by the time we got there, she was starting to [get feeling back], like she was coming back, but it was really scary."

According to the "Beverly Hills, 90210" star, her initial thought was her teenage daughter might be having a stroke, and she couldn't believe it.

"I thought, 'She's 14, how does a 14-year-old have a stroke?'" she said.

Last week, Spelling shocked fans when she shared via her Instagram Story a photo of Stella hooked up to wires and lying in a hospital bed. At the time, she was still not sure what happened to her child.

In a follow-up, the actress revealed that Stella was diagnosed with hemiplegic migraine, a condition that manifests similarly to a stroke. She also added that her daughter was already out of the hospital.

But in her recent interview, Spelling said they went to the ER twice. It wasn't clear when exactly their second hospital visit happened.

The "Mommywood" author also revealed that they found out Stella's condition is genetic, and it runs in her husband Dean McDermott's family.

Spelling said that Stella is still "not great," so they are determined to learn more about the condition by visiting a neurologist at Children's Hospital Los Angeles soon.

Aside from Stella, Spelling and McDermott, 55, are also parents to four other kids, Liam, 15, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, 5.

Earlier this month, the celebrity couple and their kids stepped out to enjoy a "family feast" at Ember & Rye restaurant in Carlsbad, California. At the time, they were joined by McDermott's 17-year-old daughter, Lola Eustace, with ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace.
