Tori Spelling has shared a health update in response to those who were "getting frustrated" by her silence recently.

Spelling — who shares kids Liam, 14, Stella, 13, Hattie, 10, Finn, 9, and Beau, 4, with husband Dean McDermott — took to Instagram Friday to reveal that her entire family has tested positive for COVID-19.

The 48-year-old actress began her post by explaining that she initially didn't want to share her and her family's diagnoses on social media but that she felt the need to speak out because "people are getting frustrated not getting responses personally and business-wise from me and wondering why" she was missing in action.

"Our entire family has COVID. Yes, every single member got it. We all have varying degrees of symptoms. I was last to be symptomatic," Spelling wrote in the caption of her post. "We all were praying it was just a bad winter cold. But it wasn't."

Spelling shared that she is "devastated" that she is unable to properly care for her children as she is also sick.

"Nothing is worse than wanting to care for your little ones but feeling so sick you can barely function yourself. I feel useless as a parent. Devastated," she added. "A mom is supposed to take care of their kiddos when sick. That's how it works."

Spelling, however, said she believes they will "get through this" as a family. The "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum also thanked a friend who immediately dropped a care package of vitamins at their front door after hearing about their condition.

The actress ended her message with a request to fans and followers to give her time to recover. "If I’m not responding, please understand. Give me some time. We are right in the thick of it," she added, noting that it took her 45 minutes to compose and finish her post.

Spelling revealed on Instagram in May last year that she is fully vaccinated, but it is not clear if the other members of her family received their jabs.

Spelling's pals and followers sent her and her family messages of love and support and wished them a speedy recovery.

"Sending you all so much love. Feel better soon," Plastic Martyr wrote.

"Sending you and your family positive vibes, Tori. Bless," Miraya commented.

"Parenting while sick = cruel and unusual punishment. It’s impossible. Hang in there. Sending love and good juju so you all get well ASAP," Adriana Costa wrote.

Samantha Ettus said she could relate to Spelling, sharing that her family also has COVID-19. "Sending you a big hug!" she added.

Spelling is the latest celebrity to announce that they have tested positive for the coronavirus. James Corden, Seth Meyers and Whoopi Goldberg have all shared their own diagnoses this week.
