  • Tottenham is looking to add some reinforcements in the current and next transfer windows
  • The Spurs are already in discussion over the transfer of Christian Eriksen and Kim Min-Jae
  • Dele Alli is eyeing a move to Paris Saint-Germain

Tottenham is planning a double swoop for two targets who have a deep connection with the club.

After losing the No. 1 spot in the English Premier League standings, Tottenham has now looked at some familiar faces to bolster the squad.

In the ongoing transfer window, the Spurs have been widely known as suitors of Beijing Guaon star Kim Min-Jae, who is Tottenham striker Heung-Min Son’s international side teammate.

The South Korean defender’s move to the Premier League is said to have been progressing in recent days with discussions between Tottenham and the Chinese side is already “wide of the mark,” Football.london reported.

Kim’s impressive performances with the Imperial Guards have made him a hot prospect in the English top-flight. Aside from Tottenham, Chelsea is also keeping tabs on the highly-rated center-back.

The Spurs’ apparent interest in Kim dates back to the last transfer window, and the report states that the English club’s stance on the matter hasn’t changed one bit.

However, Jose Mourinho’s side is not in a hurry to sign Kin as the plan is to launch a formal bid “next summer.”

Son, on the other hand, is reportedly playing the role of a middleman in the transfer of his countryman.

Apart from Kim, Tottenham has also stayed in touch with its former star midfielder Christian Eriksen.

The same news outlet also noted that Eriksen’s representatives are now working on his potential return to North London.

The report further noted that Eriksen’s current club, Inter Milan is keen on parting ways with the midfielder in the current window after being told that he will not be a part of coach Antonio Conte’s plans.

Along with Tottenham, it is believed that Eriksen’s entourage has also been talking to other clubs.

It can be recalled that Eriksen played for Tottenham for more than six years, specifically from 2013 to 2020. The Danish star has made his mark in the Spurs after making 305 appearances for the club across all competitions, before leaving in January of last year.

Inter Milan signed Eriksen for a fee of around £20 million ($27 million). However, the 28-year-old failed to deliver under Conte and eventually fell out of pecking order.

Meanwhile, Tottenham wantaway Dele Alli could finally see himself playing for another major league club.

The under-fire midfielder is keen to join reigning Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain before the January transfer window closes, according to transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano, cited by Sky Sports.

Alli has reportedly not seen Mourinho eye-to-eye and barely played for the Spurs this season, having appeared in just 12 matches.
