Jorge Luiz Frello Filho, better known to most as Jorginho, is undoubtedly at an all-time high right now.

The Brazilian was part of the Italian team that won Euro 2020, yet another accomplishment to add to his decorated football resume.

But even before that, there was no question that several clubs had an interest in the 29-year-old.

Now it appears that at least one club has been confirmed as having an interest in Jorginho–Juventus FC.

This was confirmed by Jorginho’s agent, Joao Santos, when he spoke to Calciomercato.

"I confirm it, these interests have arrived,” Santos stated. "Of course, at 29 he can do very well in all the top European clubs and many are interested in him."

Despite the growing interest in his services, Jorginho is expected to stick and play with the Blues for the coming season.

He still has a two-year deal with Chelsea, meaning the Blues will still call the shots for now.

As far as transfer talk, Santos believes that anything can happen and it all depends on how determined that particular club is as far as snagging his client from the Blues.

"There is the World Club Championship, there is the European Super Cup,” Santos revealed. "For a footballer, these are important goals. But, the transfer market is always the transfer market and if a major club comes forward seriously with Chelsea then we will evaluate.”

As for Jorginho, his outstanding performance at Euro 2020 has put his name in the conversation as a Ballon d’Or contender. This is despite varied criticism cropping up on the flaws of his game.

Regardless, some feel that Jorginho has proved his doubters wrong. Teammate Lorenzo Insigne feels his efforts and merits should be considered for the prestigious award.

"I'm not the one deciding if he deserves the Ballon d'Or, but I hope he'll be shortlisted," Insigne told reporters this week. "He deserves it, he is a great player,” Insigne stated. "I call him 'The Professor' and we are all happy to play with him."
