  • Barcelona sets a stiff asking price for Brazilian goalkeeper Neto
  • Arsenal may be the only team trying to work out a deal with Barca
  • Arsenal is expected to renegotiate Neto's price tag

Norberto Murara Neto appears ready to leave Camp Nou, and Barcelona is open to letting him go.

Arsenal has strongly been linked to the Brazilian goalkeeper. Based on the latest reports tied to Neto, it appears Barcelona has now revealed the figures if the Gunner would like to take him in.

It would take £12.7 million ($17.7 million) for them to part ways with the Brazilian. Hence, the ball is now on Arsenal’s court.

Barcelona seems open to the idea of selling Neto, a move that could give Iñaki Peña a chance to be Blaugrana’s main shot-stopper.

The asking price of Barca is seen as too much with Arsenal likely to try and negotiate for a lower fee.

Head coach Mikel Arteta is fascinated by Neto and would love to have him at the Emirates Stadium next season.

Per valuation, Neto is worth roughly £ 5.09 million ($7 million) per Transfermarkt. But probably aware that Arsenal and some other teams are pretty interested in the Brazilian, jacking up the price could be a ploy to draw in a more than fair monetary exchange.

Although Arsenal is pretty interested in Neto, they are unlikely to be able to match the high asking fee of the Catalan giants.

Other clubs that have been linked to Neto include Villareal and Everton.

El Sumbarino Amarillo showed interest but reportedly prefers a loan deal with an option to buy.

The Toffees were also linked to the 32-year-old, but all these may have crumbled after Everton signed Asmir Begovic to act as a backup to Jordan Pickford next season.
