  • The Red Devils may be better off selling Pogba

Rumors of a Paul Pogba move to Paris Saint-Germain is heating up.

With Manchester United finally closing the chapter on the transfer saga with Borussia Dortmund over Jadon Sancho, the team can now afford to look forward to more important matters on their plate.

It has been reported that PSG is in deep talks with the French national team player.

Pogba’s contract is set to expire next season, and it’s highly suggested that a move to France is on the books for Pogba.

For Manchester United, it may be better to sell Pogba now rather than lose him for nothing next transfer window as he has struggled to find any form of consistency with the Red Devils.

Pogba, despite his inability to fit in with the rest of the squad, is still a valuable contributor to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad.

The 28-year-old midfielder signed with Manchester United back in 2016 and had scored a decent but not enough 28 goals in 134 appearances.

RMC reports that Pogba and Manchester United are legitimately talking about an extension, but if for some reason PSG is not able to sign Pogba, they can go for a much younger player with potential like Eduardo Camavinga.

PSG has been pretty busy this transfer window as they’ve made moves to acquire Liverpool’s Georginio Wijnaldum, goalkeeping prodigy Gianluigi Donnarumma and 22-year-old Achraf Hakimi from their respective clubs in the hopes of regaining their status as the top club in France.

For Pogba, a move to PSG may be what his career needs.

While Pogba is already 28 years old, it doesn’t mean that his prime is almost over.

He works best as a defensive midfielder that can set up chances for the offense with his crisp passing and great ability to see plays before it happens.

Potentially teaming up with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Sergio Ramos, Neymar and Marco Veratti will surely give the team a better chance at winning the league title after Lille’s one-point win last season.
