  • Eduardo Camavinga admits he has yet to decide between Bayern and Real Madrid
  • Camavinga has not discussed future plans with his family
  • A stint with the French national team remains a priority for Camavinga

One of the top prospects that top clubs will go after is Eduardo Camavinga.

With three caps to his credit, it comes as no surprise that Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are in a race to get the 18-year-old midfielder’s services.

However, the French player admitted that nothing close to a decision has been made.

The only thing that Camavinga can say now is that he is flattered with the interest in him by Real and Bayern.

But the reason behind that is understandable. The French teenager finished second on the 2021 Goal NXGN list and has now become the top talent in European football.

The interest in Camavinga extended up to Spain even if this has been mooted. Either way, clubs interested in acquiring him will just have to patiently wait, Telefoot reported.

"It makes you feel flattered and it's nice that teams like Real Madrid or Bayern are interested in your situation,” Camavinga stated. "I'm not going to lie, but I have not yet thought it over with my family."

For now, the French footballer is focusing on the task at hand. He has two games left with Rennes before winding down their 2020-21 campaign. The club is expected to finish outside the top four in Ligue 1.

The chance to play in the UEFA Champions League is something that could pique the interest of the midfielder, regardless if this will be with Los Blancos or Bayern.

The feeling is mutual for the two clubs, but Camavinga needs to fulfill certain obligations this summer. That involves earning a place in Didier Deschamps' plans for the European Championship, which would give him another shop window to the world.

"I would like to play with the French senior team, but if I am called up by the U21s, it would be a pleasure and a great source of pride for me," Camavinga said.
