Now that the competition line-up for the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival has been announced, it's ticket buying time! Here's how you can grab one of the coveted ticket passes and packages. (PHOTO: REUTERS / Lucas Jackson).

The Tribeca Film Festival announced its 2012 competition line-up on Tuesday, with The World Before Her opening the world documentary competition and Yossi opening the narrative equivalent.

As previously announced, Jason Segel and Emily Blunt's romantic comedy The Five Year Engagement will open the festival itself on Apr. 18, as this year's gathering will host more than 50 world premieres before concluding on Apr. 29.

Last year's festival drew an estimated 115,000 attendees at movies and panels, with an overall attendance of some 430,000.

With the early hype surrounding some of the festival's biggest films, talent and filmmakers, the Tribeca Film Festival will certainly be one of the hottest tickets in town come April.

Here are some ways to buy ticket passes and packages as offered through the Tribeca Film Festival Box Office.

Festival Passes and Ticket Packages: On sale starting Mar. 5 for AMEX cardholders; Mar. 12 to the general public Hudson Pass For the first time in festival history, an early bird special discount will be applied to this year's Hudson Pass -- those who purchase the pass prior to Mar. 15 will receive a 10 percent discount off the regular price of $1,000. The pass will give access for one to all screenings, Tribeca talks, Filmmaker Lounge and other events.

Franklin Ticket Package For $450/package, this will include 20 individual (general) screening tickets and early ticket selection.

Programmers Picks At $300 a package, this will include 2 evening/weekend OR matinee/late-night tickets to 6 festival films as chosen by festival organizerse.

Harrison Ticket Package For $250 a pop, this ticket holder will have 10 individual (general) screening tickets and early ticket selection.

Discount Ticket Packages On sale starting Apr. 10 for AMEX cardholders; Apr. 16 for general public Matinee Films $39 will get you 2 tickets to a total of 3 matinee film screenings.

Chelsea Ticket Package $75 will get you 2 tickets to a total of 3 evening/weekend screenings at the SVA Theater or Clearview Cinemas in Chelsea.

Documentary Film Fan Ticket Package $75 will get you 2 tickets to 3 evening/weekend OR matinee/late night documentary screenings.

Award Winners Screenings $45 will get you 2 tickets to 2 award winners that are scheduled to play on Apr. 29, the last day of the Festival.

Single Ticket Package (Evening/Weekend) $75 will get you 6 tickets for evening/weekend screenings (online sale only)

Single Ticket Package (Matinee/Late Night) $39 will get you 6 tickets for matinee/late night screening s(online sale only)
