Tristan Thompson is addressing his past mistakes and opening up about the impact of losing Khloe Kardashian in his life.

In the finale episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” Season 19, the Cleveland Cavaliers player came clean and revealed how he felt after Khloe dumped him following his cheating scandal with Jordyn Woods last year. Tristan said that he hoped that the mother of his daughter, True, would forgive him for his actions.

“Losing her made me lose a part of myself, and I was going down a path — that was not who I wanted to be. I gave [Kris] my word that I was going to protect her daughter, and I failed. That kills me the most — when someone you respect and have high regard for and you let them down,” he told Khloe’s best friend, Malika Haqq.

Tristan relayed this sentiment to Kris Jenner and said he was disappointed in himself for letting her down when he hurt Khloe. He further explained that it affected him so much because the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch treated him like a son.

"Well, because you hurt her, you hurt me, you hurt all of us. The bottom line is we just want her to be happy and we want you to be happy and we want you to be happy as a family and we want True to be happy,” Kris told Tristan, who assured her that he was trying to slowly repair his relationship with Khloe.

Although Khloe was glad that she was able to spend a lot of time with Tristan during quarantine, the Good American founder also expressed her concerns over potentially rekindling her romance with him.

“We’re in a really good place. He’s been super helpful and, when I was isolated [with COVID-19], he would help with so many responsibilities. His energy is different,” Khloe said to Malika.

“He’ll touch my shoulders or something. I’m like, ‘OK, you’re getting a little too touchy.’ He’s like, ‘I just want you to know, if ever you are thinking the same thing, I’m here for you,’” she continued.

In a confessional on the show, Khloe admitted that she has observed that Tristan was “getting antsy,” especially since they were spending time more nowadays, though he never gave her an ultimatum.

However, due to her failed relationships, the 36-year-old said she has “every reason to be guarded” and remains unsure about getting back together with him.
