Jennifer Aniston may be celebrating a milestone birthday in the New Year, but that doesn’t mean she invited Brad Pitt to attend her party. A new article is suggesting the “Friends” alum wants her ex-husband by her side for the upcoming celebration.

Heat published an article claiming Pitt and Aniston are friends again but haven’t shared their rekindled bond with others. An alleged source claims the 49-year-old is no longer interested in hiding their friendship and believes her party is a great way to reveal they are “back in touch.”

The supposed confidant went on to imply Pitt’s estranged wife, Angelina Jolie, will be “annoyed” once she learns about the alleged friendship, but the stars aren’t concerned with her feelings.

“He’s been told about the party and promised Jen he’ll be there, barring a catastrophe. Brad agrees there’s no need for their friendship to be under the radar anymore and he’s touched that she wants to make this point on such a special occasion.”

Despite the report, a rep for Aniston told Gossip Cop the article by Heat is “made up.” The fact-checking website goes on to note that the actress’ friend, Portia de Rossi, previously revealed the former spouses “haven’t seen each other” in a long time.

Furthermore, Pitt has been busy with his tense custody battle and divorce with Jolie while Aniston has turned her focused to her career after announcing her separation from Justin Theroux earlier this year.

While Aniston will celebrate her 50th birthday on Feb. 11, Pitt won’t be by her side.
