Did Brad Pitt really get a mystery lover pregnant last year? A previous report claimed that the actor had a secret baby with an unnamed woman, but now, this rumor can finally be put to rest.

Last year, Star magazine claimed that Pitt had a "secret lover" and got her pregnant. In the bogus report, the tabloid claimed that Pitt met his mystery lover, who was supposedly in her 20s, at an art show. At the time, Star didn't offer any proof backing up their claims, including information such as which art show they met in or when this supposed meeting happened.

The tabloid's unnamed source also claimed that Pitt's estranged wife, Angelina Jolie, was reportedly "furious" when she heard that he got someone pregnant. The questionable tipster went on to say that Pitt's fling may have affected his relationship with MIT professor Neri Oxman. However, Oxman herself clarified with the New York Times that she and Pitt had never been in a relationship.

Pitt's supposed baby with the unnamed woman also hasn't surfaced, only further proving that this report is completely fabricated. Pitt's spokesperson also confirmed with Gossip Cop that the claims of a secret baby were absolutely false.

Despite being proven false, Star magazine hasn't stopped putting out fabricated stories about Pitt and his love life. One report that came out after the secret baby story claimed that he left Jennifer Aniston and was now dating spiritual healer Sat Hari Khalsa.

However, Pitt never got back into a relationship with Aniston after their divorce in 2005. While Pitt did make an appearance at her 50th birthday bash earlier this month, that was reportedly the first time that the actor had seen his ex-wife in a long time.

But it seems that while they didn't rekindle their romance, the two are apparently friends again. Sources told Us Weekly last week that Pitt and Aniston started getting close again after the actor's split from Jolie in 2016 and the "Friends" star's breakup with Justin Theroux in 2017.

Pitt apparently made sure to be there for Aniston on her big milestone earlier this month to show his support for his ex-wife. “Brad wanted to support and celebrate Jen by attending her birthday party,” the insider revealed.

Pitt reportedly reached out to Aniston after her mom, former model Nancy Dow, died in May 2016. “Brad contacted Jen after her mom died, and she was touched that he knew what a difficult time it was,” the source said.
