Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have finalized their divorce, and the actress is currently dating CaliGroup CEO John Miller. A recent tabloid story, however, has claimed that Affleck has asked his ex-wife to marry him. This rumor has now been debunked.

Although Garner and Affleck have split, they have remained friends. They have even been spotted together in public. However, a recent tabloid story has suggested that “sparks flew” between them when they met last month for a friend’s wedding in Los Angeles.

A “source” reportedly said that Affleck asked Garner to marry him during that reunion. The supposed insider said that the two were having such a good time joking around and laughing that it reminded the Hollywood actor about their time together, and this reportedly made him propose to her.

Garner, according to the source, thought that her ex was joking with the proposal. The actor, however, assured his wife that he was serious about getting married to her again. According to the rumor, Garner is impressed with her ex-husband’s recovery after checking into rehab, and is considering giving Affleck another chance.

The insider said that Garner had some “demands” before agreeing to marry Affleck, but there is no mention of what these demands actually were. The actor, according to the source, wants to stay married this time. The two celebrities still love each other, according to the tabloid story.

This rumor has been debunked by Gossip Cop after checking with a source close to the couple. The fact that Garner has been dating Miller for about a year now and reports that Affleck may be back together with his ex-girlfriend Lindsay Shookus also suggest that the two of them have moved on after the divorce.

Sources close to Affleck have confirmed to People that he is indeed back together with Shookus. The two of them have been spending a lot of time together and have been spotted in public a couple of times. A source has revealed that the actor loves to be with his ex-girlfriend these days.

Meanwhile, Garner has been focusing on her business. Her organic baby food company Once Upon a Farm has announced that it will be making its refrigerated baby food available to WIC-eligible families, Us Weekly reported. WIC is Women, Infants, Children program by USDA that aims to help low-income women, and children up to the age of 5, who are at risk when it comes to nutrition.
