Fans of the recently cancelled ABC Family drama, “Twisted,” may be able get their fix from another network’s show, Spike’s ancient Egypt miniseries, “Tut.” “Twisted “star Avan Jogia was cast earlier this month in the title role, as the young ruler, and now his “Twisted” love interest, Kylie Bunbury, is joining the show for an informal ABC Family reunion.

Spike announced Tuesday that Bunbury would be joining the cast to play a supporting role, according to Deadline. Her character name will be Suhad, but no description of the character or how big her role will be was given by the network.

Bunbury tweeted her excitement to be a part of the series, as well as to work again with “Twisted” co-star Jogia.

Jogia also tweeted about Bunbury joining the cast, while hinting that the two had let the secret slip early if fans had been paying close attention. Fan speculation on Twitter seems to center on the amount of retweeting and tweet favoring between the two actors about the miniseries, but Jogia was vague about the nature of the mysterious clues.

Hopefully, the reunion in “Tut” will be a consolation prize for fans still getting over the “Twisted” cancellation. Season 2 of “Twisted” was axed last week after it failed to produce high ratings. At least fans will get one more taste of the love interests’ on-screen chemistry.
