Twitter defends Prince Harry from claims he left his own family.

Last month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they were leaving as senior members of the royal family. They also declared that they will be working to be financially independent.

Following the bombshell announcement which reportedly shocked the royals, the couple flew to Canada. Many attacked and slammed Prince Harry for leaving his own family. The critics felt that the duke abandoned his own blood. However, several Twitter users stood and defended Prince William’s brother using a verse from the bible.

“Genesis 2:24: ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.’

Ephesians 5:25: ‘For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her,’” @DauterOfTsiyown added.

“Amen to that Krys. He left with his family. Can the church say amen,” @kreim added.

“The RF are suppose to be Christian, it is stated from the scriptures, 'what God has joined together let NO MAN put asunder.' Man or woman,” @Marlene25478773 opined.

Another online user said that Prince Harry’s decision was just right because people need to spread their wings and venture out to see the world to find their happiness. The netizen advised to “let your kids live their lives” because “they are not your puppets.”

Meanwhile, a different social media user insisted that Prince Harry’s family is not only Markle and Archie. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip who are already in their 90s are also part of his family. But another netizen also stressed that Prince Philip, himself, left his own family to be with Queen Elizabeth II after they got married.

In related news, Prince Harry and Markle shocked their staff when they decided to close their office at Buckingham Palace. The staff were reportedly told about the layoff before the Sussexes announced their resignation but they were still surprised.
