Ty Murray & Jewel Welcome a Baby Boy Named Kase Townes [PICTURES]

Jewel and bull rider Ty Murray have welcomed their son, Kase Murray, into the world. The 7-pound, 6-ounce baby boy was born on Monday at 7 p.m.

Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby Kase Townes Murray into the world! the proud parents wrote in a message on their official website. We are overcome with happiness-it really is as great as everyone told us it would be-better even!

Jewel and Murray have been married for 3 years and announced the pregnancy in January.

After her car was hit by a fire truck in March while Jewel was driving, there was some concern for the safety of her unborn child, but as it turned out everyone was alright, and both mama and baby made it out unscathed.

Keeping with the baby trend, both Victoria Beckham and Kate Hudson had babies over the weekend. Beckham gave birth to her fourth child over the weekend, and the Beckham's chose the name Harper Seven for the latest addition to their family.

Hudson and fiancé Matthew Bellamy welcomed there baby boy this weekend, but the name is still uknown. This is the first child for Hudson and Bellamy, but Hudson has a 7-year-old son, Ryder, with her ex-husband, Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson.
