Lifetime’s “It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” programming event continues tonight with the premiere of “Under the Christmas Tree,” starring Elise Bauman and Tattiawna Jones.

The film will be a treat for fans as it allows them to see a new story featuring an LGBTQ couple, the first of the season on Lifetime, and will also be introducing them to two actors they may not be familiar with, as neither has featured on Lifetime before. Bauman may be recognized for roles in the upTV films “Love in Translation” and “Designed with Love,” as well as the Hallmark Channel film “A New Year’s Resolution.” She also starred in the film “Below Her Mouth.” As for Jones, she may be recognized as Ava from “Lost in Space” or Dr. Simone Lightbourne on “The 100.)

Fans will also be in for a treat as both women are also featured in an episode of “The Handmaid’s Tale,” making this technically the second time they’ve appeared on–screen together.

Ricki Lake (“Hairspray”) also stars.

So what will fans be in store for with this film? Let’s find out.

“Marketing whiz Alma Beltran (Bauman) and Christmas tree whisperer Charlie Freemont (Jones) cross paths when Charlie finds the perfect tree for the Main Governor’s Holiday Celebration—right in Alma’s back yard,” a synopsis reads. “While they initially spar, romantic sparks soon begin to fly the two women as the enchanting tree and some Christmas fairy dust from the town’s pâtissiére extraordinaire (Lake) bring out the best in them and spark each other to take leaps of faith and fight for love and Christmas magic.”

“Under the Christmas Tree” airs Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
