‘This Is Us’ Season 2 Spoilers: Halloween Photos Reveal Trick-Or-Treating Drama

The Pearson family goes all out for Halloween. NBC released photos from the Oct. 31 episode of “This Is Us,” and it looks like trick-or-treating might not be fun for the 10-year-olds.

In photos from “This Is Us” Season 2, episode 6, we see Rebecca (Mandy Moore) sewing, indicating that she’s responsible for these stellar Halloween costumes. Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca have gone the couples’ costume route and are Sonny and Cher. The kids, meanwhile, have gone in separate directions with their outfits. Randall (Lonnie Chavis) is wearing a Michael Jackson costume and wig, and Kate (Mackenzie Hancsicsak) looks like Sandy from “Grease” pre-Pink Ladies makeover. Kevin’s (Parker Bates) clothing is a little less distinctive. Perhaps he is Oliver Twist?

In any case, the synopsis warns that trick-or-treating “goes awry for Jack and Rebecca.” It looks like the kids will run into some problems. In the promo video for episode 6, Kate searches for a boy from her class named Billy. He apparently told Kate that he’d be here, and she seems anxious to see him. Does Kate have a crush?

He’s not the only one who has a disappointing night. Other photos appear to show Rebecca comforting Randall and Jack having a serious conversation with Kevin.

This episode isn’t just about Halloween, though. Episode 6 will also flashback to the day the Big Three were born as well as when they were all in their 20s, hence why the episode is titled “The 20’s.” Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) are expecting their first baby, Kate (Chrissy Metz) has a different boyfriend and Kevin (Justin Hartley) is a struggling actor trying to find his big break. It looks like Randall’s anxiety will pop up again just before Tess is born.

While the episode has plenty going on, it doesn’t sound like last week’s cliffhanger will be addressed. In the final moments of “This Is Us,” Jack was revealed to have a brother. There was a picture of him with Jack in the Vietnam War, but it isn’t clear if her survived.

“This Is Us” Season 2, episode 6 airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT on NBC.
