The latest agent for “Valorant” has officially been revealed in the 2022 Reykjavik Masters, giving players a glimpse of her background and her complete list of abilities.

Fade has been teased through social media and in-game easter eggs for weeks before her reveal in VCT. Her agent and gameplay trailers have confirmed that her previously-leaked kit is somehow accurate.

Fade is the first agent to hail from Turkey, and her abilities grant her power over a person’s fears and nightmares. Gameplay-wise, she can block vision, chase enemies down and apply debuffs with her nightmare powers.

For those who missed the leaks, here are Fade’s abilities from Riot’s official descriptions.

E – Haunt

Equip a nightmarish entity. Fire to throw the orb, which will plummet to the ground after a set time. Upon hitting the ground, the orb will turn into a destructible nightmarish entity that will reveal the location of enemies caught in its line of sight. Re-use the ability to drop the entity sooner.

Q – Seize

Equip an orb of nightmare ink. Fire to throw the orb and it will land on the ground after a set period. After hitting the ground, the ink will explode and create a zone that caught enemies cannot escape from by normal means. Re-use the ability to make the projectile drop from flight sooner.

C – Prowler

Equip a Prowler. Fire to send the Prowler out, causing it to travel in a straight line. Prowler will lock onto and chase any enemy or trail they see. Enemies caught by Prowler are near-sighted. Hold the fire button to steer Prowler to the direction of the crosshair.

X – Nightfall

Equip the power of Fear. Fire to send out a wave of nightmare energy that can travel through walls. The energy creates a trail to opponents while also deafening and decaying them. Her abilities can definitely shake up the existing meta, but it may be too early to tell if she is going to become a mandatory pick or not.

Fade is expected to hit live servers in Episode 4, Act 3 of “Valorant” alongside a new battlepass that’s full of new cosmetics, including three new weapon skin lines.
