Iconic French actress Catherine Deneuve stunned at the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gala held during the 72nd Venice Film Festival on Monday. The event was organized to celebrate a 10-year partnership between the Swiss brand and the Venice International Film Festival.

The 71-year-old actress looked stunning in a red dress. The 13-time César Award nominee showed off her slim arms and stunning complexion in the dress that perfectly complimented her skin tone. She styled her short blonde tresses into a bouffant "do."

The candlelight event also highlighted Deneuve’s milky complexion. She looked much younger than her age. The classy red draped sleeves dress featured a thigh-high split, plunging V neckline and big pockets.

The satin ensemble was cinched at the waist with a matching belt. The actress showed off her curves in the striking number. She carried a black clutch and wore matching court shoes.

The talking point of her evening look was her dazzling accessories. The “Belle de Jour” star wore chunky diamond-encrusted necklace and matching hooped earrings. A huge ring on her little finger, bracelet and an anklet finished her look.

The septuagenarian actress chose smoky eye make-up for the candlelit celebrations. Rest of her make-up included black eyeliner and kohl, a slick of red for her lips. Deneuve paired her look with matching red manicure.

The “On My Way” actress smiled as she was joined by Alberto Barbera, director of Venice Film Festival at the gala. Earlier, she was pictured making an entry to the party along with French designer Gilles Dufour.

“I do enjoy it [acting], otherwise I would stop. As long as I read interesting scripts and interesting parts,” Deneuve said about acting. She added that she does not think about it much, except when she is tired. She recently dismissed her retirement rumors, following reports that she had put her sprawling French home on the market.

Deneuve also attended the 2015 Cannes Film Festival in May. She was there for the premiere of her film “Le Tete Haute,” where she also stunned in a black and fuchsia pink hybrid dress by Jean Paul Gaultier. She is one of the mainstay at the Cannes Film Festival, and has been attending the event every year since 1966.
