Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) will be in dangerous battle in “Vikings” Season 6, episode 3. A preview video of the next episode shows the new king of Kattegat in a desperate fight that will take the lives of many of his warriors. Meanwhile, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) warns everyone to prepare for another attack.

King Olaf the Stout (Steven Berkoff) is the villain of the next episode. A preview video shows Olaf and his soldiers well prepared for an attack from Bjorn.

Bjorn will plan a sneak attack on his enemy, and he will choose to use the water route. However, the water will turn into a graveyard for most of followers as King Olaf will be waiting at the shore. There will be a “sea of corpses” as the soldiers fire flaming arrows into the warriors in the water.

Another preview video of “Vikings” Season 6, episode 3 shows Bjorn and the others discovering the trap at the last minute. The king of Kattegat will order his warriors to retreat, but it may be too late.

Bjorn may be able to survive the battle against King Olaf, but the war will continue. The preview video shows Lagertha asking everyone to prepare for another attack.

Ivar’s (Alex Høgh Andersen) invasion may take some time, which should give Bjorn and Lagertha an opportunity to prepare. Oleg (Danila Kozlovsky) has his own problems to deal with before he can plan the invasion of Kattegat.

Bjorn is fighting to be a good king for his people, and he is also trying to finish what his father started. In a previous interview with ET Canada, Ludwig said that as the season progresses there will come a point when his character will hit a low point when he will wonder if he will be able to accomplish what he has set out to do. Will Bjorn be devastated after the failed attack on King Olaf?

“Vikings” Season 6, episode 3 is titled “Ghosts, Gods, and Running Dogs.” It will air on Dec. 11 at 9 p.m. EST on History.
