• Paul Walker's daughter Meadow Walker announced Friday that she has tied the knot with Louis Thornton-Allan
  • The announcement came two months after she revealed she was engaged to the actor
  • "Fast and Furious" stars Vin Diesel and Jordana Brewster were present at her oceanside wedding earlier this month

Vin Diesel played a major role when late friend Paul Walker's daughter got married earlier this month.

Meadow Walker, 22, took to Instagram Friday to reveal that she has tied the knot with actor Louis Thornton-Allan, two months after announcing their engagement.

Diesel, who is Meadow's godfather, gave away the bride in place of her late dad, E! News reported, citing an unnamed source. Diesel's "Fast and Furious" co-star, Paul, died in an accident in 2013.

Meadow shared a photo of Diesel walking her down the aisle during the ceremony, with actor sporting a light blue suit and sunglasses for the occasion.

The model also uploaded a black-and-white video from her beach wedding with Thornton-Allan. "We’re married!!!!" she wrote in the caption, to which her husband responded, "Yes we are!!!"

The clip revealed that Diesel's co-star Jordana Brewster was also present during Meadow's big day. The actress was photographed hugging the veiled bride.

It was not clear when exactly the ceremony was held, but in a selfie on Oct. 11, Meadow and Thornton-Allan's wedding bands could be seen on their ring fingers.

Meadow has maintained a close bond with her late dad's "Fast and Furious" co-stars over the years. In June, she also attended the premiere of "F9." Brewster shared photos of their reunion on Instagram.

"Family [red heart emoji] forever," the actress wrote in the caption. "Love you [red heart emjoi]," Meadow commented.

According to Vogue, Meadow and Thornton-Allan's wedding took place earlier this month in the Dominican Republic. The couple kept the wedding intimate by only inviting their closest friends and family. They also opted for a small celebration due to the pandemic.

"The pandemic impacted our plans," Meadow told Vogue. "Louis' family wasn’t able to attend. A lot of close friends whom we consider family were also unable to attend due to travel restrictions."

The newly married model described the event as a "very intimate celebration." Her aunt Paloma assisted her with the wedding planning and "did an incredible job." Meadow also shared that they have always known what they wanted and it was an "easy and simple" celebration.

Following the ceremony, they gathered for a beautiful candlelit dinner and the cutting of the cake, according to Meadow. They spent the rest of the night enjoying the beach party.

"We were all barefoot, dancing in the sand," she recalled. "To finish the night, there was a wonderful display of fireworks, and we lit lanterns into the picturesque night sky."

Meadow announced her engagement to Thornton-Allan in August on Instagram. She shared a clip of herself in a pool showing off her diamond ring before taking a dip. Her engagement ring was custom-made by Eduardo Saggese at Eclat Jewels, according to Vogue.
