Beep Games, Inc. has finally released the improved version of its famous platforming video game “Voodoo Vince.” The remastered version is now available for purchase from Valve’s digital distribution platform.

On Tuesday, “Voodoo Vince Remastered” launched on Steam, enabling interested gamers to purchase the game for $14.99. Since this is a revival of the classic character platformer from 13 years ago, players familiar with the original game can easily jump into Vince’s adventure as the latter finds his way through cemeteries, swamps and many more dangerous places.

For those who are new to the game, Beep Games’ description already gives a clear picture on what this is all about. “Vince’s adventure takes him from the streets of New Orleans to the depths of a Louisiana bayou to find the whereabouts of his keeper, Madam Charmaine. In true voodoo style, Vince encounters and defeats quirky monsters and villains ... by kicking his own butt,” the description reads. “By racing under a falling safe, jumping into a high-speed blender, or leaping under falling rubble, Vince is sure to defeat his enemies—all while managing to escape completely unscathed.”

“Voodoo Vince Remastered’s” combat action allows players to use over 30 voodoo attacks that obviously involves the protagonist getting into outrageous circumstances, but since this is voodoo the monsters and enemies would be the ones who would end up hurting. Thus, players should be smart in using dangers and hazards and not run away from them whenever an enemy is nearby.

Aside from voodoo magic, first-time players would surely enjoy the twisted world where Vince is at. The world has 30 detailed levels that are filled with all sorts of things and creatures like imps and zombies. There are also vehicles and minigames to master in order for Vince to realize his quest.

For players who are getting the remastered platformer, the developer has already released the system requirements for the game to run smoothly on PC. The minimum OS requirement was revealed to be Windows 7, but the recommended version is Windows 10. When it comes to processors, Intel Core2-Duo 2GHz or any equivalent would do. The minimum required memory is 3GB RAM, while the Graphics chip should at least be NVidia GeForce GT430-1GB VRAM or any equivalent. Players should also free up at least 4GB of memory to accommodate the game.

“Voodoo Vince Remastered” is part of the Xbox Play Anywhere initiative, so players who already bought the Windows 10 PC version may also play it on Xbox One.
