Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry is edging closer to a return to the court. According to head coach Steve Kerr, Curry was a "full go" to return to Warriors practice Tuesday, and that the 30-year-old "looked good" in a scrimmage Monday.

That would put him in line to return against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday at the Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, in a highly-anticipated matchup between what many believe could be this season's NBA finalists. Kerr revealed a return against Toronto was certainly possible for Curry, provided he was able to go through the next few days of practice without any further issues.

Regardless of whether he plays against the Raptors or in Warriors' next game against the Detroit Pistons later in the week, Curry's return serves as a huge boost for Golden State who have clearly struggled without him.

Curry injured his groin during the Nov. 8 home loss to the Milwaukee Bucks and has missed the last nine Warriors games, soon to be 10 when they play the Orlando Magic on Monday night.

In his nine-game absence, the Warriors have won just four times, and notably went on a four-game losing run for the first time under Kerr. That poor run of form also saw them drop down from first in the Western Conference to second with a 14-7 record, although they were as low as fifth at one point after starting the season with an impressive 10-1 record.

Meanwhile, Draymond Green (toe sprain) was still doing conditioning work on the bike and would need some more days practicing on the court before a potential return. The forward has played just two of the last 10 Warriors games, missing the last five in a row, as the team hopes he would return during their upcoming five-game trip which begins against Toronto.
