Floyd Mayweather returned to the boxing ring on New Year’s Eve for an easy victory. The greatest boxer of his generation knocked out Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in the first round of their exhibition fight.

The bout, which took place at RIZIN 14 at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, won’t go on Mayweather’s official record. The boxer is a perfect 50-0 in his career and made quick work of his latest opponent.

Mayweather needed just two minutes and 19 seconds to defeat the 20-year-old. He knocked down Nasukawa three times. The kickboxer’s corner threw in the towel when he hit the mat for the third time.

“It was all about entertainment. We had fun,” Mayweather said after the fight, via ESPN.com. “I'm still retired. I don't look forward to coming back to boxing. I did it just to entertain fans in Japan. I'm still retired, I'm still 50-0, and Nasukawa is still undefeated and a hell of a fighter.”

Mayweather’s last fight came on Aug. 26, 2017 when he knocked out Conor McGregor in 10 rounds. The former world champion hasn’t fought a professional boxer since defeating Andre Berto on Sept. 12, 2015 by unanimous decision.
