Hallmark Channe’s “Welcome to Christmas,” starring Jennifer Finnigan and Eric Mabius premieres Sunday night.

This is Finnigan’s first Hallmark Christmas movie since 2015’s “Angel of Christmas,” while it’s the “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” star’s first ever — not counting the holiday-themed installment of his Hallmark movie franchise. So, let’s see what their Countdown to Christmas 2018 movie is all about.

“When real estate developer Madison Lane (Finnigan) visits their town to rule it out as the location for her company’s newest resort, Sheriff Gage McBride (Mabius) and the residents of picturesque Christmas, Colorado must change her mind to ensure the town’s future,” the synopsis shares. “The plan works, and in less than a week Madison finds herself completely entranced with the town and its friendly people, especially the handsome widower sheriff with whom romance begins to blossom.”

The synopsis continues: “But when she realizes that building the resort could destroy the small town’s charm, Madison reverses course and soon alienates the very people who made her feel so welcome and wanted. It’s going to take a miracle, but unless she can come up with a great backup plan for Christmas, Madison will lose the new home she’s found, as well as any chance of happily ever after with Gage.”

Catch “Welcome to Christmas” on Sunday on Hallmark Channel at 8 p.m. EST.
