Rihanna has expanded her beauty line with a new fashion label under the Fenty moniker through a partnership with LVMH. With the introduction of the new clothing line, Rihanna becomes the first black women to work with the luxury brand, CNN reported.

The launch of the Fenty fashion line debuted at a boutique in Paris and will be available on Friday at the store location with online sales starting May 29. The Fenty clothing collection joins Rihanna’s other ventures – Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty – a cosmetics and lingerie brand, respectively.

Rihanna started Fenty Beauty in 2017 and Savage X Fenty in 2018. She has amassed a sizable fortune from her singing career, acting career, and beauty ventures, giving her a net worth of $260 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

The new Fenty clothing collection was developed by Rihanna herself and “epitomizes both the spirit of Rihanna and a new approach to modern luxury: agile and dynamic; elevated yet egalitarian; bold, free, fearless,” according to the LVHM statement about the collection.

When talking about the Fenty brand, Rihanna posted a statement on the LVMH website that read in part, “Women are forces of this earth. We are multifaceted, complex, vulnerable yet bulletproof, and Fenty speaks to all of our intricacies. Some days I want to be submissive, many days I'm completely in charge and most days I feel like being both ... so it was imperative that we created a line versatile enough to embrace and celebrate us in that way.

"The collections are easily worn together and meant to be staples in our wardrobe. I'm just hyped to see people in my clothes, man,” she added.
