Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are just beginning to start their lives apart from the British royal family and while this should be a time for them to settle down it seems instead they are on doing just the opposite.

With the world currently in the midst of dealing with the coronavirus COVID-19, a lot of things are uncertain. When it comes to where the Duke and Duchess plan to live, though, seems more definite. British publication Express reported that they are preparing to move and are certain about where they want to reside in the future -- California.

"This is what Meghan and Harry have always wanted — to create their own life," a source revealed to People.

"It's got to feel like an immense relief to get out of the UK and go down their own path," the sourced added.

The recent pandemic may not have swayed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's relocation plans but it did have some influence when it came to their son, Archie Harrison.

Meghan and Harry recently traveled to Europe to wrap up the last of their royal duties and noticeably missing from the trip was their 10-month-old. As it turns out, Archie stayed behind with a nanny to help mitigate his risk of catching the contagious virus.

Despite the distance, they kept in touch with their growing baby boy the entire time they were away by "FaceTiming with him every day," a source shared.

"He’s doing great," the source said in reference to Archie. "He’s grabbing onto things and picking himself up. He’s starting to have movement, which is really exciting."
