"Real Housewives of New Jersey" stars Joe and Teresa Giudice have faced a lot of hurdles lately, but now a new reunion is on the horizon.

On Monday, Teresa shared the news with her Twitter followers. "Joe and I will be sitting down with @Andy to discuss everything that has been happening with us and our family the past few months," she wrote. In the tweet, which can be seen below, the reality star announced her upcoming special, "The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked."

This new development comes on the heels of a lengthy legal battle that Joe, 47, has been facing due to his deportation status. After serving three years in prison for a financial fraud conviction, the reality star was sent to a different facility to wait out an official verdict pertaining to his deportation status.

Due to the "horrible conditions" where he was being held, Joe ultimately asked that a judge grant him the ability to return to Italy until a conclusion is reached. His request was eventually approved and he was allowed to leave the U.S.

Before going back to Italy, additional reports also surfaced that gave fans a look into one unique thing that the "RHONJ" star planned to do after leaving ICE custody.

At this time, there is no word on exactly how much the TV personalities are going to make for appearing in the new Bravo special, but it has been said that Teresa, 47, is set to receive a "huge paycheck" for the reunion.

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked" will air Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
