Last year when Season 2 of HBO's "Big Little Lies" was in production, a now-highly-memed photo of Reese Withspooon's character Madeline Martha Mackenzie preparing to launch an ice cream cone at the back of Meryl Streep's head delighted the internet.

However, that scene was left on the cutting room floor and didn't make it into Sunday's episode, much to the dismay of viewers. This has raised the question if fans will ever get to see the sequence in all its dessert glory. It turns out that the answer is yes.

In May, Streep expressed her disappointment that the scene featuring her character Mary Louise didn't make it into the show.

"[Reese] just told me it's not in the show!" she told ET at the "Big Little Lies" Season 2 premiere. Despite the scene being left out of the final edit, Streep informed the outlet the footage would appear in the DVD extras.

Additionally, Witherspoon previously discussed her joy in getting to throw the ice cream cone at the Academy Award-winning Streep. "It's a top 5 moment in my career, for sure," she stated to ET last August.

There is no word on when the "Big Little Lies" Season 2 DVD will become available to the public, but you can watch new episodes every Sunday at 9 p.m. EST on HBO.
