A sleek-looking white Xbox One may hit shelves as early as March, according to a forum poster on NeoGAF. Though Microsoft fans have known about the special edition Xbox One for some time, white versions were extremely exclusive and difficult to find, with Microsoft auctioning off a few for charity or giving them to certain Microsoft employees.

In November last year, a white Xbox One went for sale on eBay and sold for $11,300 after a 70-bid war. The funds went to the Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit organization that helps those wounded during military service. The auction also included one year of Xbox Live, “Forza Motorsport 5,” “Ryse: Son of Rome,” “Dead Rising 3,” “Killer Instinct,” “Project Spark” and “Crimson Dragon” – along with a controller and Kinect.

Photos of a “Titanfall” Xbox One edition also surfaced online, but no date has been set for when the console will become available. An exclusive controller was announced for the game’s upcoming release earlier this January. Available when “Titanfall” hits shelves on March 11, the controller is available for pre-order through the Microsoft store and was priced at $64.99. It’s safe to assume the limited edition console will launch in March along with the first-person shooter. The title has already taken more than 60 awards at its E3 2013 premiere, including a record-breaking six E3 Critics Awards. “Titanfall” also won Best in Show awards from IGN, Destructoid and Game Informer.

Rumors also speculate a white Xbox One bundle may launch in October along with Insomniac Games’ open world shooter “Sunset Overdrive.”
