Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are always facing trouble in the press, and now, the two have supposedly hired someone to help save their reputations. Diplomat Fiona Mcilwham is their new private secretary.

The Daily Mail reports that Mcilwham was hired because she is “the ‘obvious choice’ to help rescue Harry and Meghan’s reputation.”

The former U.K. ambassador to Albania is known to prefer walking over private chauffeurs and would speak to political leaders in their native language. Meghan and Harry were likely present for her final interview, but the search was led by communications director Sara Latham.

A source told the Daily Mail that Mcilwham won’t cause any controversy. She is “the safest pair of hands you can get and that is what the couple really need right now.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have done plenty of hiring this summer. They also employed a new nanny earlier this summer after the first two didn’t work out.

“Meghan is a very hands-on mum but the new nanny is a godsend. She is extremely professional, with a number of nannying years under her belt, and has fitted into the family really well,” a source told the Sun. “She’s great with little Archie and just adores him. Harry and Meghan are very happy with her.”

Meghan gave birth to baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor in May. They want to sort out the nanny situation before the family heads off to Africa. The Duke and Duchess will bring Archie to South Africa with them. Harry will also visit Malawi and Angola on his own. The royal tour will take place this fall.
