Does Carole Middleton have a favorite grandchild from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s brood?

It cannot be denied that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very hands-on parents. But whenever they are away, Middleton’s parents look after their children. According to Vanity Fair, Carole might have a secret favorite among Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Carole and Michael Middleton own a family business called Party Pieces. Upon taking a closer look at the cakes available on the company’s website, the fashion magazine found something interesting. Many of the sample personalized cakes read “George,” while a few read “James” and “Archie.”

Prince George once claimed that his nickname was Archie, so the cakes were named after him. There was no reference to Carole’s other grandchildren like Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte or Pippa Middleton’s son, Arthur Matthews.

“Could the proud nana have a secret favourite?” the report asked. If one will consider how Carole and Michael named the cakes, then Prince George could be their favorite.

According to Phil Dampier, Middleton’s parents play an “integral role” in the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s kids’ lives. Carole often brings Prince George and Princess Charlotte to Party Pieces where they pretend that they run the company. Also, the third-in-line to the throne loves to be with his grandmother.

“Prince George goes out a lot with his grandmother Carole. They go to the beach there and they are very close,” Dampier said.

Carole loves to treat her grandchildren with sweets and chips. One visitor reportedly spotted Prince George sitting in front of the house exclaiming “Oh my gosh!” after Carole gave him a bag of sweets for being well-behaved.

Also, one time when Prince William and Middleton were away, Prince George told his mom that his granny “gave him chips again” for dinner.

Carole and Michael joined Prince William, Middleton and their kids during their summer holidays in Mustique last year. Many believed that they looked after the kids when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were spotted dancing and enjoying a rare wild night out in the island. They also joined the Cambridges in their trip to Mustique last month where they celebrated Prince George’s birthday.
