Why Alex Rodriguez Stayed With Jennifer Lopez Amid Affair Rumors

Alex Rodriguez is head over heels for fiancée Jennifer Lopez and can't stop gushing about the "World of Dance" judge.

During an interview with The New York Times, Rodriguez opened up about Lopez, telling the publication that she was "so authentic and genuine." "I've never met anyone who's more honest," the former MLB star, 43, gushed.

Rodriguez went on to say that the singer-actress, 49, has the ability to juggle motherhood, work, their relationship and more, which the sports broadcaster believes is her "superpower."

"It was strange to see someone of such magnitude be so normal, be such a great mother and partner and friend," Rodriguez shared. "How can you be like this and then go perform in front of 80,000 people? But that's her superpower."

Rodriguez also admitted to still having a "checklist" that he looks at before sleeping.

"I'm old school. I remember things better if I write them out," he revealed, adding, "The other day, Jennifer said something brilliant at, like, 2 in the morning. I reached over to get my notebook, and everything falls on the floor. Then I grabbed it and wrote it down."

Rodriguez popped the big question to Lopez on March 9 while the two were in Baker's Bay, Bahamas for a getaway. The singer-actress said yes, and the two announced their engagement to the world via Instagram.

Rodriguez reportedly splurged quite a bit for Lopez's engagement ring, which has a massive emerald cut diamond that's been estimated to be worth between $1 million to $5 million.

The couple's engagement was then followed by cheating allegations against Rodriguez from Jose Canseco and a Playboy model, but Lopez and her beau seem to be unfazed by the rumors. The two have been spotted multiple times since announcing their engagement.

But before she walks down the aisle for the fourth time, Lopez is keeping busy with her film and music career. The sexy singer recently released her single "Medicine" and is currently filming her upcoming stripper movie, "Hustlers."

Over the weekend, Lopez was photographed filming her scenes for the movie, which also stars Cardi B, Constance Wu and Lili Reinhart, Daily Mail reported.
